Upon
arrival, each wax kit is checked for the best fingerprint impression
and then sent to the casting department to be trimmed, invested,
and prepared to cast.

After
preheating in an oven to 1500 degrees each charm is "cast"
into the customer's choice of 14k white gold, 14k yellow gold
or Sterling Silver.

casting, each charm is smoothed with a heatless stone and a rubber
wheel to remove any burs along the edge.

Each
charm is drilled for an o-ring and polished to a brilliant lustre
using a special process that will not damage the delicate fingerprint.
After polishing, the charms are engraved with the child's name
and birthday. The final stage is a quality control check before
shipping the final product out to the customer.
